NICEATM hosted a training session focused on the Integrated Chemical Environment (ICE), including opportunities to learn about its latest updates. ICE is a globally used platform that provides user-friendly access to high-quality data and tools to support the evaluation of chemical toxicity. This training provided a general overview of ICE, its data and curated chemical lists, and live demonstrations of different ICE tools, including:
- Search Tool – Explore toxicological endpoints, chemical properties, and exposure data for chemicals and mixtures of interest.
- Chemical Quest Tool - Identify structurally similar chemicals.
- Chemical Characterization Tool - Compare chemical properties and chemical use categories.
- Curve Surfer Tool - Explore concentration-response curves and bioactivity with curated high-throughput screening data.
- PBPK Tool - Predict tissue-specific chemical concentration profiles following a dosing event.
- IVIVE Tool - Estimate the in vivo equivalent administered dose from in vitro data.
